The Pre-Sale Home Inspection Process:
A home inspection is a professional, objective, visual examination of the overall condition of a home. Our home inspectors will thoroughly evaluate the property inside and out – from the roof to the foundation and everything in between. We will inspect the home’s:

- HVAC
- Plumbing
- Roof
- Attic
- Electrical

Our team inspects many different property types, including:
- Single family homes
- Condos
- Duplex
- Fourplex
- Lofts
- Rural homes and estates
- Apartment complexes
Our home inspectors will spend an average of 2-3 hours on-site performing the inspection. This can vary due to the size and age of the house.
We recommend that you are present for the home inspection. This is your opportunity to ‘walk and talk’ with the inspector and have them explain their findings as well as recommendations for repairs. We understand you’re busy, and it is not a problem if you cannot attend. We’ll provide a full inspection report the same day. The report will have detailed explanations of our findings along with pictures and captions. Our inspectors are available by phone or email should you have additional questions.
Preparing Your Home for Pre-Sale Inspection:
Cleanliness Matters – Ensure your home is tidy, including areas typically out of sight.
Utility Access – Gas, electric, and water services should be on to facilitate inspection of major systems.
Provide Access – Ensure access to areas like the attic, electric subpanels, and water heater closets.
Pet Considerations – Keep pets secured or remove them from the property during the inspection process.
Scheduling Your Inspection:
Schedule your inspection several weeks in advance to allow ample time for review with your Realtor and any necessary repairs.
